What is Plan Management?

Plan Management gives you the flexibility to use both NDIS-registered and non-registered providers. This gives you greater choice and control over the supports you receive.
As your Plan Manager, Taylor Made Outcomes can:
-
use your plan funding to pay for the supports you purchase
-
assist you to keep track of your available funds
-
help link you with supports, where needed
-
provide access to our client dashboard for real-time tracking of your plan budget and spending
-
send you a monthly budget report
Costs
As your Plan Manager, Taylor Made Outcomes will claim a monthly administration fee from your NDIS plan and, if your plan is new, a one-off establishment fee. This funding is included in your Improved Life Choices budget and is designed to cover the full cost of Plan Management.

Information we may request for some purchases
As outlined on the NDIS website, while Plan Managers are not responsible for deciding whether a support is ‘reasonable and necessary’, they may still be required to repay funds that have not been spent in accordance with an NDIS plan.
For this reason, Taylor Made Outcomes may request additional information or supporting evidence before processing some claims. This helps ensure claims are made in line with the way the plan has been built and reduces the risk of incorrect claims being made.
This process also helps protect participants from potentially being asked to repay funding later.
All items purchased through the NDIS must meet the reasonable and necessary criteria. In some cases, an item may appear to be an everyday expense, so we may need further information before it can be processed.
This information may be provided through:
-
a letter of support from a relevant professional, or
-
completion of a Checklist for Purchase provided as part of your intake
This information helps show that the purchase:
-
assists you to pursue your NDIS plan goals
-
helps reduce disability-related barriers that affect your ability to engage in activities or supports
-
is value for money
-
is likely to be effective and beneficial for you
-
does not replace the reasonable expectations of family, carers or other informal supports
-
is most appropriately funded by the NDIS
